Can we choose our site number?

While we will do our best to accommodation requests, sites or cabins cannot be guaranteed and are subject to change without notice, due to factors beyond our control. 

Is your caravan park pet friendly?

Small dogs are welcome on our Caravan and Camping sites on the Manager’s discretion. For full details, please visit our Pet Friendly page.

What are your Office opening hours?

8am to 6pm every day.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is after 2pm for cabins, and after 11am for sites.

Check-out is strictly 10am.

Do you allow late arrivals?

Reception hours are 8am until 6pm. Guests arriving outside these times must contact park reception during reception hours on 08 8983 1169 to make alternate arrangements.

What is your cancellation policy?

All deposits are non-refundable if your booking is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to arrival date. All cancellations of more than 48 hours from arrival date will incur a 10% administration fee. No refunds on early departures. All fees and tariffs are subject to change without notice.

How close are you to Darwin CBD?

We are located 23km from the Darwin CBD.

What facilities are available nearby?

You will find a small selection of shops adjacent to us on Whitewood Road, Howard Springs, including an IGA Supermarket, Newsagent, Bakery, Doctor and Pharmacy, Hairdresser and Tavern with bottleshop. See more here.

Do you have cabins as well as caravan sites?

Along with our caravan and camping sites, we have a wide variety of cabin accommodation to suit all needs and budgets.

If staying in a cabin do we need to bring our own linen?

No, we provide all linen for all beds and bath towels. Please bring your own pool/beach towels.

What size are your sites for caravans, motorhomes, big rigs and camper trailers?

We have a wide range of powered caravan and camping sites. Please check with the park to ensure you book the right size site for your requirements. 

Do you have ensuite facilities for caravan and camping?

Yes we do have Powered Ensuite sites available, but they are only suitable for smaller caravans or camper trailers less than 20 feet including the draw bar.

Are dump points provided at caravan park?

We have two dump points for the use of in house guests. These are for porta potties only. Do not empty grey or black water into the amenities as in interferes with our septic system.

Can we wash our car?

Cars or caravans can be washed on your site. As water is always a precious commodity, we appreciate the water going onto the grass.

Can we put up a clothesline or tarp on our site?

For the safety of all guests, we don't allow tarp structures or clotheslines to be erected in the park. There are clotheslines available throughout the park.

What type of amenities do you offer?

We have a total of 4 amenities blocks, all with laundries. Three of the blocks offer unisex ensuite style bathrooms, containing toilet, hand-basin and shower, which are popular with families. These blocks also have separate toilets. Are older style amenities blocks towards the front of the park have separate male and female showers and toilets.

Can we have visitors?

Visitors are permitted in the park until 9pm, after that time they would be charged a nightly rate. All visitors vehicles must remain outside the boom gate. If your visitors wish to use the pools and facilities, there is a fee of $15 per adult and $10 per child.

Do you have noise restrictions?

Please be considerate of other guests and keep noise to a minimum when using BBQ's and the camp kitchen. No noise is permitted after 10pm. Please call the park number (on the front of your park map) to speak to the Night Manager on duty, if noise persists in your vicinity after 10pm.

Do you have washing machines and dryers for guest use and how much does it cost?

Yes we do in all of our amenities blocks, operating from 8am to 6pm. The machines operate on $1 and $2 coins and it is $4 for a wash and $4 per approx 30 minutes use of the dryer.

Do you have BBQ facilities?

Yes, we have 7 separate BBQ areas with a total of 8 barbecues and all are free of charge.

Do you have a camp kitchen?

We have covered, open-air camp kitchen including a gas cooktop, BBQ plate, toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. Guests should bring along their own cooking gear and utensils.

Do you allow fires?

Sorry, no fires are allowed in the park.

Do you have internet access?

We do have free Wi-Fi internet hotspots available around the park, but generally not inside the cabins. There is also a computer for use in Reception for a small fee.

Do you have a kiosk or shop onsite?

Our office stocks a selection of sundry items, including ice, gas refills and takeaway alcohol. There are also local shops just a short distance from the park. See more here.

Do you have a restaurant onsite?

No, we recommend the Howard Springs Tavern, just a short distance from the park. You can pick up a menu with a free drink voucher from Reception (subject to availability).

What facilities do you have for children?

There's plenty to keep the kids entertained, including a giant jumping pillow with shade sails, children’s playground and a splash park. Pedal go-karts are also available for hire from reception.

Do you allow children to ride bikes, scooter, rip sticks and roller blades?

Of course we do, but we ask that they wear helmets. No bikes, roller skates/blades, skateboards, scooters, etc are permitted in the splash park or on the jumping pillow.

Do you have a pool?

We have not one, but three pools and three spas along with a fantastic splash park. One pool and spa is located at the entrance of the park. The other pool area has two spas, a plunge pool and large resort pool. No lifeguard is on duty, therefore, children must be fully supervised. Food and glass is not permitted in the pool.

How far are you from the beach?

Swimming is possible in the dry season at patrolled beaches in Darwin at Mindil Beach, Nightcliff Beach or Casuarina Beach when lifeguards and lifesavers are on duty. These beaches are approximately 26km away from the park. 

Do I need to book before I arrive?

You should always book in advance to avoid disappointment, especially in the dry season winter months. We often have great deals available during the quieter wet season months.

What are your tariffs?

Our tariffs vary throughout the year, you can get some great deals on breaks away during the quieter months, whilst during the peak dry season months you are looking at higher rates.

Yes, we have a small amount of permanent vans and residents in the park.

We have Night Manager on duty. Please call the park number on the front of the park map provided at check-in and the phone will transfer to them.
